A Welcome from the Trust

The Twickenham Riverside Trust was founded in 2011 with the primary purpose of preserving, protecting and improving for the benefit of the public, the riverside and its environs in Twickenham, and other areas as the Trustees might decide.

The Trust had emerged following a extensive campaign by local residents (including in a petition of over 8,500 signatures presented to Downing Street) to protect and preserve the public open space on Twickenham’s riverside.

We trustees are an eclectic group of (mainly) Twickenham residents - from different backgrounds and with different interests, but all with a shared love of Twickenham's riverside.

We believe that Twickenham's Riverside and the surrounding areas alongside the Thames can help our town become an even more vibrant community whose use and enjoyment of the river can improve our physical and mental health and improve our town.

If you have any thoughts on preserving, protecting and improving the Riverside at Twickenham for the public, please do not hesitate to contact us at twickenhamriversidetrust@gmail.com.

THE
RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY

Twickenham Riverside is home to a thriving community of individuals, homes, businesses and community organisations who all make the area what it is today.  We want to help bring to life some of the brilliant people who are part of our community.
